Cationic finishing agent for jute, synthetic & cellulosic fibers

CHARACTERISTICS  PROPERTIES

Cationic Softeners have been well established on all fibers natural and synthetic but lack durability to washing treatments. By virtue of their affinity for fibers, the conventional softeners are absorbed by treated textiles in exhaust application but they cannot withstand washing treatments. The product is wash fast on all synthetic fibers including polyamide, polyester and polacrylic. is non-yellowing in character. It does not MAK-SOFT-SPW affect the shade nor the fastness properties to light and wet treatments. When applied within the recommended dosage levels, MAK-SOFT-SPW does not promote thermomigration of disperse colour dyes on polyester.

APPLICATION

liquid is diluted in warm water I:10. the resulting solution is added to the finish bath MAK-SOFT-SPW

liquid is recommended as self finish on Polyamide, Polyester and Polyacrylic fibre material. It is
MAK-SOFT-SPW applied either by exhaust method or in padding and drying.

0.5- 2% liquid on weight of goods MAK-SQFT-SPW

Adjust pH 6-7 with sodium bicarbonate

Continuous Method
Pad in
10 - 20 gpI liquid at ph 4 to approximately 60-70 wet pick up and dry at 110-120 c a higher drying temperature is not recommended MAK-SOFT-SPW
Partial Replacement Of Silicone
liquid could also be used to partially replace silicone in a fnish it has been observed that without affecting the feel upto 50 of the silicone used could be replaced by MAK-SOFT-SPW liquid.
