Non-cresylic mercerizing agent

MAK-MERCE-NC - is a versatile non-cresylic mercerizing assistant to improve the mercerizing efficiency of cotton yam/fabric and their blends with polyster fibres thereby imparting lustre to the goods and good build up shade during dyeing due to high degree of absorbency.

PROPERTIES

Physical Appearance	:	Amber coloured clear liquid.
Ionic Nature	:	Anionic.
Compatibility	:	Stable to high concentration of alkali of mercerizing strength, not compatible with cationic auxiliaries.
Miscibility	:	Miscible with water in all proportions.
Storage stability	:	Excellent if stored properly.

APPLICATION

MAK-MERCE-NC - is a very good wetting agent, stable to high concentrations of caustic soda of 54 Tw, i.e mercerizing strength.

2-4 g/l of MAK-MERCE-NC can be best used as an mercerizing wetting agent in 54 Tw caustic soda solution in order to impart good luster on cotton yarn / fabric.

It is necessary to mercerize the fabric when dyed or printed in general and with reactive dyestuffs in particular.

In order to have very good build up of solid shade with reactive dyestuff on viscose, cotton viscose and polyster/viscose blended fabric. The caustisization with 12-15 Tw caustic soda in the presence of 1 g/l MAK-MERCE-NC at the room temperature is recommended.

MAK-MERCE-NC - can also be used as a wetting agent in mineral khaki dyeing on cotton fabric due to its high stability to alkaline liquor even at elevated temperatures. 1-2 g/l of MAK-MERCE-NC may be used in a padding liquor.

MAK-MERCE-NC - may also have application in viscose fibre/yarn manufacture 0.2-0.4 g/l

MAK-MERCE - is used in caustic soda solution for dissolving cellulose xanthate.
