Carrier for polyester dyeing 

CARMAK - TC is based on trichlorobenzene and is available in self emulsifiable form. This is very essential to get enhanced dye uptake on polyster fibre/yarn when the dyeing is to be carried out at atmospheric pressure at boil, where suitable pressure dyeing equipment is not available.

 CHARACTERISTIC PROPERTIES
Physical Appearance : Pale yellow liquid
Ionic Nature : Anionic
Stability  : Stable under high temperature dyeing conditions.
Miscibility : It readily forms milky white emulsions with cold water.

APPLICATIONS
CARMAK - TC - Jigger Dyeing : The dye bath is set at 60 deg using about 2-3 gpl of . The pH is adjusted around 5-5.5 with acetic acid (1gram per ltr.) and sodium acetate (0.5gpl) combination. The fabric is entered at 60 deg C. the required amount of previously prepared dyestuff dispersion is then sieved into the dyebath over two ends. The temperature is raised to 100 deg C in 30 minutes and the dyeing continued for 60-90 minutes at boil. After the dyeing is completed, the fabric is rinsed and reduction cleared.
CORRECTION OF FAULTY DYEINGS
Uneven dyeings ofpolyster goods can be leveled out with 3-5% CARMAK - TC of at thigh temperature.
