METHOD
OF APPLICATION |
Finishing of cotton yarn and fabric.
MAKWAX - PA finds use in finishing of cotton yarn. The recommended concentration is
2-3%, on weight of the material. The yarns to be treated are wetted out in the solution,
squeezed well and dried without rinsing. For finishing cotton fabric, pad through 20-30 gpl
MAKWAX - PA and dry. |
Finishing of cotton longcloth, poplin and saree material with in
MAKWAX - PA combination with starch and other softeners and fillers :
For finishing with starch, use MAKWAX - PA, 5-10% (on weight of starch).
For glaze and sheen finish, usually 20-30 gpl
MAKWAX - PA is employed with other starch
finishes and the finished fabric is then calendered. |
Finishing of rayon material :
MAKWAX - PA, when used with C.M.C., glue, gelatine or other adhesives in single thread
sizing of rayon, gives flexibility and added strength to the yarn. 10-20%
MAKWAX - PA calculated on the weight of adhesive should generally be used. |
