MAKSOFT-AMS
- is a newly developed softener, which is exclusively used for finishing of
cotton, polyester/cotton, acrylic and polyester fabrics in order to get extremely silky softness
alongwith anticreasing property, which cannot be obtained with conventional silicone
softeners. |

APPLICATION |
| When used as a softener for cotton and polyester/cotton blends, it imparts extremely
silky rich softness. |
| When used in resin finishing, it controls the loss in tensile strength, since it acts as an
excellent lubricant. |
| When applied to hosiery and knitted goods, apart from imparting excellent silky soft
touch, it improves the stretch back property. Hence
MAKSOFT-AMS strongly recommended for hosiery and knitted material. |
| It may be applied both by padding as well C'S exhaust techniques since it has affinity towards
the fibres. The concentration may be varied between 5 to 25 gpl, or 0.5 to 2%
(o.w.f.), depending upon the extent of softeness required. It may be used as a self-finish or with other
finishing agents. |
